
Sometimes the CAS does not respond the way you expected simply because the result you expected is not true in general. Sometimes you need to give more information to the CAS. Pleaaase, don't post trivial CAS problems, or non CAS-related problems here!Ī general rule concerning computer algebra systems:Įach time you evaluate an expression, and your CAS does not give the answer you expected, don't blindly assume that there is a bug, or that the expression cannot be evaluated. If you cannot solve it, maybe someone will be able to help you (I will try for sure).
